Our Favourite Board Games for Couples
It's a gloomy, rainy evening in November, and you're both fed up with doom-scrolling. You haven't spoken for an hour, and you're wondering how you can break the cycle. Put down the phones and pull out one of these great board games. They play brilliantly with two people, and they are fun ways to disconnect from tech and reconnect with your partner. These three are some of our favourites.
A guide to great roll and write games
Roll and write games have become increasingly popular in the last five years. The classic grandfather of these games was Yahtzee, but all have a similar way of playing. You roll dice, or flip cards and then take actions, usually on a game pad, racking up combinations to score the most points at the end of the game. Roll and write games are fantastic for new players, as they are small, quick and not intimidating. They are also perfect for gaming on the go, either on your commute or on holiday.
